Had the wife’s truck done on Friday. Picked it up that afternoon and haven’t noticed any more drop outs. Radio stations were still programmed, however on Sunday the memory stations were gone. Everything still seems fine so not sure if it got an ota update to cause this.

There have been no recent OTA's on our trucks that I am aware of. You can check the history section in your radio.

One of the updates was to allow for ota’s and that’s the only thing I can think of that would reset the presets 2 days later. Much like GM I don’t know.

My 24 rig sat in our shop at the farm from end of August until beginning of October. When I started it, the first thing I noticed was all radio presets were gone. I never checked to see if it did any updates, cause I simply hate all that bullshit.

My update update! :
Still radio is cutting out a bit at start up..
Noticed blinkers lights and sound not quite in synce, I bet I would never had noticed if someone had mentioned it...
I did dod a hard reset as recommended, no difference...
Got a text message, and went to let the radio read it to me, can't hear it?! Is the volume for the accessories adjustable?
I did go through settings, but couldn't see the answer!

Everything worked before and works after on mine. My paint is a different story…that is still shit lol.

Volume levels do vary based on what the radio is doing. Next time you cannot hear it just turn up the volume knob.

Not sure if it's related but the SuperCruise on my HC isn't working anymore. I get a service driver assist system mesSausage now at start up.
Going to wait for the oil change to do the update and have them fix the SC.

Guess I'm going to have to drive the freeways the old fashion way for now

Update, radio worked fine for 6 days. Now it has not worked twice in 2 days. No radio, no blinker sounds and the soft reset doesn’t work. It does however work the next time the truck is started.

Glad they tested this before pushing it out. Seems I have read about problems being added vs fixing the existing ones. Glad I waited

I don't believe you cause there's at least one guy on this forum that says it's perfect and it also fixed problems we never even had.

My update was done on September 12...1.5 months later and she's still working great without a hiccup. Don't know what else to tell you As I stated...still get audio drop out at startup for a bit, but I know what's causing that and it's not something GM will be able to fix since it pertains to data transfer between the phone and the infotainment system.

So your's doesn't work right either? GM is 100% on shit not working.

Well not having the radio for the drive in this morning convinced me I’d rather listen to a 6.2 rather than the 3.0.

thats sucks dude. my update is going on a few weeks with zero issues and zero dropouts. good luck. maybe its a dealer / tech thing.

In part, it's been bad hardware too. You can't compensate for shit hardware with programming, especially with 2nd rate programmers. I think that's why some guys have seen functional improvements after replacing their head units.

Others haven't had many problems, if any, from jump street. My wife's Tahoe seems to function fine, my 22 does whatever it wants, my 24 infotainment and radio works fine, but I've had plenty of messages pop up in my DIC and flash across the top my infotainment system. It's cornucopia of bullshit electronic technology!
