I had my rig in to address several outstanding recalls and campaigns. Everything seemed to go smoothly with the software updates and they were done quickly. This included the serial gateway update for the infotainment/radio, SCR fault detection update, remote start/fob update, and brake controller update.

I previously had issues with my brake controller, but it had not happened in a long while. They replaced it and did a software update.

Also had them take a look at my parking brake, drive mode, and 4x4 bezel as the buttons were crooked and set back. The plastic frame behind the fascis had a broken clip, so they ordered a new one, so I'll be back again.

Also, I noticed that after all these updates, none of my settings were affected, the DIC had the same layout, seats had same memory positions, and radio was the same.

My radio stations changed 2 days later after the update.

So far, the only anomaly I've seen since my update was the outside temp guage reading way low on DIC and Infotainment screen. I was running some errands on Friday and it was lagging behind considerably. Stayed at 45 for about 3 hours, then jumped to 60, but should heve been 70, then stayed there until I got home 5 hours after I left and it finally got close to the actual temp. Haven been in it since, so not sure what it'll do.

Went back to get the e-brake light bezel part replacement competed, which looks much better.

I had the newest tailgate recall showing now, so they fixed that too. Not sure how that fix is done, but it may be through the plastic cover on the backside of the multiflex tailgate. Seen what looked like a finger smudge, but nothing that looked like it was disassembled.

The tailgate switch is due to a crappy manufactured switch that didn't seal out water. The whole switch unit gets replaced from the back side.
Thats old news, been posted for months. But it wasn't showing on my truck 3 weeks ago.

That's what I said! But the face of the unit was not touched on the outside.
