Dash cam post recall software update

Was late to the party getting my recall work done for the software update issue, just got it done 2 weeks ago. Since then, my Vantrue E1 dash cam will not work when plugged in the truck, but will operate correctly when powered by home outlet. It only shows the “transfer video” file as if it were hooked up to my laptop when transferring video files over. When i remove it from the truck and plug into an outket in the house, i have to first reformat the sd card, then it works great..,,,until
I go back to the truck.
Anyone else experience issues after the software update??
