It doesn't affect me because "I" have an Allison...At least it says Allison....It's supposed to be Allison made by Chevy.....Ok, so Allison licensed the name...Ok, so it's not an Allison...SHUT UP!! It's just as good as my previous Allison 6sp...Just as durable....Just as shiny...But, but, but, the label looks good on the hood.....
I watched another video and supposedly the software patch is too detect abnormal wear and operation and prevent shifting. It'll then throw your rig into limp mode so you can go to the dealer for a fix....... more GM bullshit.
