Hey all,

New here. I have a 25 Zr2 2500HD Bison gasser on order. I hated dealing with my local dealerships here north of Charlotte and in Charlotte so I ordered from an interesting Dealership based out of Oklahoma. I hope to have it here in the next two months.

Intending to take some overland offroad courses with it. Plan to do some camping and travel. I am also going to be towing my lowrider to shows every now and then.

Not going to be much of a build, but I'll have one to document adventures and progress.

Mods planned
1. Magnaflow catback.
2. Aftermarket Gooseneck.
3. Come up winch install.
4. Perhaps a toobox, but not sure yet.
5. Front and rear dash cam. Not 100% on how to do that yet. But planning it for sure.

Mine arrived from Detroit to Phoenix pretty quickly after build. I think it's a matter of railroad logistics. Some areas are closer, some are further away and may have additional trucking required for the final miles.

Mine will be going to a sleepy town in Oklahoma and then shipped here to NC. I'm curious how long it will take from Michigan to OK. Should be quick in my eyes but again I'm not fussed about it. Its alot of money haha.

I'd fly to Oklahoma and drive it home. It'll be broke in and ready for the first oil change when you get home.

Axe, you make a good point. I am still debating doing that. The dealership is in an interesting town, and it would be cool to take a road trip. But honestly, it's a fair amount of driving, and it's not going to save me much money.

I'm leaning towards shipping it right now. But if I get an itch to get out of the house then I might book a flight to do that.

Yeah I did it once from Denver to Phoenix when I bought a truck there during a business trip. That's only about 800 miles so I got home in 12 hours. I've done some 1600 mile trips, but that's at least 2 days if you're by yourself. So gas and motel will run you $500-600.

I can help you with the dash cam install. Get either a VIOFO A229 Pro 2 channel or the new A329 2 channel with the hardwire kit.

4200 ORDER SHIPPED

According to the dealer;

"Right now it's still at the upfitter shop. It will get put on a rail car, and make the train car ride down to OKC, and then they will truck it up here. The current ETA says Dec-Jan. Once it gets on a train car, we might get a more approx time. My guess is it's mid January."

Window sticker got generated and the truck is offically in transit from the build list. posted on the dealer site.

Getting closer. Seems to me like its going to be far quicker than mid-january but nah dealer updated. 1/20.

Okay no big deal.

Hopefully there's no kids throwing rocks at it along the tracks........not that I'd know anything about that.
