What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

From what I know, you cannot do that. In order to connect to AA, you MUST turn OFF CarPlay on your phone and visa versa or they will both try to connect at the same time and that creates issues.
My wife and I both have are Samsung Galaxy phones connected to the truck but it gives an option to choose which one is the primary. The only time hers connects before mine is if she gets in the truck with her phone before me. Other than that, there is no issue. Mine automatically connects first.

My eq settings are similar. I think I have my bass more up and fade is centered. My dip switches are all up though as it provides more gain.
Based on everything I read, if installed per the directions and using the gain knob, all switches up is probably best. But if you use the woofer inputs (wires run from passenger door under seat to the center console), all up is WAY too much gain. I tried that first, so first hand knowledge there!

See bro ...now you know! They are freaking awesome. Get the anti slip mat that decked sells (about $250? If I remember correctly.) It tends to slide around a little bit so what I did is took 2 1/2-3/4 self tapping screws and installed them on each of the top corners near the cab. That way when I go through car washes the dryer doesn't blow it all over the place and it stays in place nicely when I put loads in it. Leave the rear section unfastened, that way air can get underneath to dry whatever water there is between the mat and the top of the deck. Happy for you bro! Enjoy it! Did you get the first gen or the second gen?
Got it! I think I will get the mat and some locks for the top cubbies.
I got the second gen. Chevy accessories had it for $400 off so I said what the heck, I don't need to eat for 6 mths anyway.

Decked are always about 1500 so that 400 off is an outstanding deal! I've got the Gen 1 so I've got four ammo boxes and I can't lock them but I do have locks on my drawers and drain plugs. Did you know you can turn the drawers into coolers? Pretty neat eh! And just remember their waterproof, but they're not dust proof. I can spray them with my power washer or take him through the car wash and not one drop gets in them but I go on a trail and they end up dusty on the inside.
That's kind of why I got the drain plugs installed so that I can rinse them out easy But I did use it as a cooler one time just past summer and it was pretty awesome

Yeah that's pretty cool. I'm still trying to figure out how to sort my stuff. Think I'm going to order more dividers. I didn't think I was going to haul around all that crap but I filled the bins up quick lol.

Got my new rig this week! So excited! Came from a ‘22 HD Denali gas job. Time to sell the holiday trailer, so it was time for a fun truck! Not many mods yet, just Expel PPF on hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors, and Truxedo Low Pro tonneau. Get my off road high profile steps next week. Ordered a short radio antenna and stake pocket plugs today. Looking for some lower profile splash guards. Suggestions please!

Yep! I purchased four extra dividers plus two more boxes, One of the larger ones in one of the smaller ones. I also installed nine extra tie-down points and used a Dremel tool to cut out the areas by the tie down points because they sit level with Decked. I also purchased two locks, one for each drawer and the drain plug kits. You will have to remove each drawer completely and drill the according size hole for the drain plug. It has a threaded rubber grommet which the cap screws into for the drain. I'm sure as you know by now you'll have to remove your fold down assist handle because the Decked won't fit with it. Here's a couple pictures of how I have mine set up.

I moved my Diode Dynamics SSC1's behind the grill, Added ADD ditch light brackets with Diode Dynamics SSSC2's, Added flush mount Diode Dynamics SSC1's to the rear bumper and added an Auxbeam controller to the console.

Can you share some close up “off” pics of how the rear flushes tuned out.

It’s a little dirty right now but here you go. It was an easy install but if I did it again I would go with the SSC2’s for a little more light output. These are pretty bright though.

That's some good info brotha. I won't really miss the grab handle but might make use of the mounting points it left behind for something. I like how you dremmeld that out.

Installed a midland mxt575 radio under the passenger seat using the Pinnacle offroad mount. Pretty stoked with the install, however routing through the firewall sucked ass- had to pull a wheel well liner to get to the grommet. Also used a Cali raised ditch light extention to mount the antenna.

Just in case you haven’t had an MXT before, make sure you change the setting to use the mic as the speaker instead of the head. (Or set it for both)
