Looks nice, but that thing won't work for me as it takes up too much room in the bed and I need the full height of the bed.Forgot to post but I installed my decked system. I love it. Going to fab up a wheel holder for the spare.

That's what I thought but my mother in-law fits just fine back there and I can still haul my tools around.Looks nice, but that thing won't for me as it takes up too much room in the bed and I need the full height of the bed.
Question. I got the full screen working on both AA and CP. the problem is when it switches to CP the AA side disconnects from my trucks WiFi. How do I set it so both sides stay connected to WiFi?
Are you trying to connect an Apple and Android phone at the same time?Question. I got the full screen working on both AA and CP. the problem is when it switches to CP the AA side disconnects from my trucks WiFi. How do I set it so both sides stay connected to WiFi?
Trying to be able to switch back and forth. The other problem is everyone says they here themselves in echo when talk to me via CarPlay. Are you trying to connect an Apple and Android phone at the same time?
From what I know, you cannot do that. In order to connect to AA, you MUST turn OFF CarPlay on your phone and visa versa or they will both try to connect at the same time and that creates issues.Trying to be able to switch back and forth. I assume I over touched some settings.
Ok, makes sense. From what I know, you cannot do that. In order to connect to AA, you MUST turn OFF CarPlay on your phone and visa versa or they will both try to connect at the same time and that creates issues.
When you use a CarLink kit, you must delete your phone from the radios BT connectivity. You want the phone to be used via CP or AA and not utilize BT connectivity built into the radio.Ok, makes sense.
Any idea what would cause the echo on the callers side?
Up top in the instruction, the connect to Bluetooth part is connecting to the Carlinkit BT and not the trucks BT, correct
How did you coat the skid
I had to remove it in garage and paint itHow did you coat the skid
Looks great
Do you mind sharing all your settings such as: gain switches on amp, bass knob position, equalizer and fade/balance positions? I'm having trouble getting it tuned in.Not this week, but installed the Kicker subwoofer (with bass gain knob) about a month back. Took a week or two to get all the settings where I am happy. Initially I wasn’t sure I was gonna be happy with this purchase, but after getting everything tweaked, I am VERY happy with the difference it made! My buddy who owns a F150 King Ranch with the 87 speaker B&O system said it sounded really good to him (he’s a die hard Ford guy and we give each other crap all the time, so that was a big compliment). My wife’s Explorer ST has the B&O system with like 15 speakers, and it sounds really good. I am no longer jealous after this install!
Once I got all the truck and sub settings tuned (to my ears), I don’t have to touch the knob as much as I thought I would. But for <$50 I would definitely go with the knob every time!
ok thanks that would be great. mine is dealer installed so I'm assuming they used right front speaker but it would still be nice to see your settings to have a basis to go off of.@naddysaad - I can snap a pic of my eq settings and post my gain knob setting and dip switch settings as well. But… I used the Bose woofer wires (under passenger seat) for my Kicker inputs vs the right door speaker wires.
