What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

Buy what you want. All I am saying is that, if you did pay the high price for a K&N, it's not worth the extra money and you are paying for marketing and the K&N branding and not necessarily buying a better filter.
By posting that link, I just saved everyone $2 filter over the AC Delco you can get at Walmart for $8. Buy a lottery ticket and you are set for life. What a Christmas!

Everything we buy has marketing and branding costs factored in. Whatever you bought today, you paid for that. I spent more on one tank of gas than I will for a 3 years worth of oil filters.

I use this tool to cut open my filters. I think i paid double this prior to Amazon days. It works really well.

HRepair 52-77750 Oil Filter Cutter, Oil Filter Cutter Cutting Tool, Fits 2 3/8" - 4 3/4" Filters https://a.co/d/4Ay5VQP

I changed all the chrome badges, replaced the lug nuts and center caps. Washed and waxed it now it's time to do something about the chrome flowtie and the horrible factory steps.

I didn't do this this week:) But I figured I'd post. 2024 ZR2 Bison 3.0 Duramax.

Pic #1. PPE Oil Catch Can

Pic #2. Silicon PPE air intake pipes

Pic#3 PPE Turbo resonator and PPE Zilla corbon fiber intake pipe

(not pictured PPE oil pan, PPE transcooler, and Intercooler)

These mods have really helped the truck with throttle response, and keeping the Exhaust Gas temps low. The oil pan helps with draining the dirty oil which should not linger at the bottom of the pan after an oil change:)

By the way if anyone is looking for what I believe to be well engineered parts for any duramax, I believe PPE is a great company. Everything I have ordered from them fits absolutely perfect, and performs as advertised.

Tailpipe cover/extension. Most high performance $35 I ever spent on Amazon....I called Gale Banks, and he said this here sumbitch will make another 110ft/lbs of torque.

On a serious note: I used one of these before and the finish lasted the whole two years I had it on the truck, so I got another. Yes...It really was $35.

Well I ordered new tires and 1.5” wheel spacers all around. Tires I went with falken wildpeak 4w in oem size. Spacers went with Bora since I’ve had them before and are awesome and made in USA. I stayed with stock size tires because I was afraid of rubbing

Don’t be scared, there’s nothing some trimming can’t fix 🪚🤣

But if you do get adventurous the 285/70r18 is only slightly larger, still 3-ply sidewall, and C-rated for that smooth stock ride.

Did you cut the original exhaust pipe?

Did you cut the original exhaust pipe?
No. I did paint it though, so if you look up in it it's not as apparent. I also took the heat shield down (two bolts) and painted it, as well as painting the pipe up to the bend. It cleans up the side view a bunch.

@AXE can give you a link to a unit that is 3" longer than this one, and a bit more expensive. He lives in the high rent district, not down here with us poors. :ROFLMAO:

Hey fellas it’s been a while since my last post. I’ve made some pretty big changes to my ZR2 since.

I installed the fiberwerx carbon fiber widebody kit over the Christmas holiday. I ordered the kit back in early July and it arrived beginning of December. My thoughts were I’d rather pay more upfront for the carbon fiber and have minimal fitment issues, no cost for paint…
