Deciding Between ZR2 and Trail Boss LT - Help

Oh where do we start! 😁
-Did you already order a fabric pen?
-If you’re not planning on ppf I would get some matte vinyl for the back of the hood scoop, that glare can be blinding!
-For the diesel a banks idash is nice to monitor regen
-Ultimate 9 throttle controller will really wake it up
-Peak suspension leveling kit
-wheels and tires
-kicker or similar sub if you’re into music, the stock bose is pretty unimpressive

What else is he missing guys?

Thanks for the options!! They are definitely on the list. I have a few questions!

-Didn’t order a Pen yet, what color did you go with?

-Never used a throttle controller before as I mostly tuned my cars, but this seems like a great product! Do you know if this would void warranty? Like does the ECU record the new inputs?

I picked up a black pen awhile back but haven’t gotten around to using it yet. I really should, it would look a lot better than the yellow.

No warranty concerns with a throttle controller. The controller only manipulates the throttle position sensors’s output voltage, never more or less than factory specs so the computer will never know it’s even there.

Awesome I just might pull the trigger on the ultimate9, then probably pick up and auto stop delete.

By chance have you heard any news on a pulsar coming out?

i recommend checking out @The_Q 's thread for a list of great recommended mods. i did all the light mods posted at the top of page 2 of that thread along with the auto stop eliminator. all easy to install. the all front lights on hi beam are next level lighting, brightest set of hi beams i've ever had.

auto stop is another great one. I struggled a bit finding a good video of installation. the instructions they send are in pdf format and i'm sure work just find, but i like watching videos. here's the one i used and it worked perfectly:

EDIT: i noticed in your last post you were likely going to pick up an auto stop eliminator. go with what's been proven. mine works perfectly.

@TKO-ZR2 Thanks for Sharing! Just read through the lighting features definitely adding them to the list! It looks like I have a lot of work to do haha!

Damn that’s a lot to disassemble.

It sure is. Damn! That's too much of a pain in the ass.

I bought an Auto Stop Override Module from a forum member and it was a simple 5 minute install. 1 plug under the hood by the battery and 1-10mm nut to hold a ring terminal on the negative battery terminal. And it works perfectly. And didn't have to tear apart half of the interior.

Do not get this one. PITA to install. This one is a 5-minute install in the engine bay at the battery. Much better solution but a bit pricier. I was the first to install this and then many have followed based on its ease of install.

Or get the RANGE DFM module that also gives Auto S/S functionality.

@securityguy. I have the Range DFM for my 6.2. I was looking for something that would work for the wife’s baby max and this looks like it will. Thanks.

I wonder if the Carbyte would work with the diesel? It’s any easy obd pluggin for the gassers, and also being able to read codes is a nice benefit.
I don’t have a babymax so don’t care enough to contact them but I do wonder.
