I’m about to pull the trigger on a 2025 1500 ZR2, but am not a fan of the factory 18” wheels. Has anybody successfully swapped a set of the 20” gloss black wheels off a Trail Boss or High Country onto a ZR2? I don’t necessarily want larger rubber (33’s are fine) but really want larger rims. Any insight or do’s/don’ts?
My Chevy dealer is willing to let me swap out factory 18” rims with 20’s off a different model Silverado, so I can avoid buying a new set of rims/tires, but he cannot confirm a direct fit/swap without potential fitment issues.

Note: I do not do a lot of off-roaring, more highway cruising, so I’m not too concerned with ride quality on skinner rubber on a 20” rim to maintain the 33” overall wheel size.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Leave it alone the ZR2 looks amazing. It obviously needs engine upgrades to justify the price against other trucks out there. Let’s get real. It’s almost 80 grand and the truck makes 420 crank horsepower. Which is mid 300’s wheel. Not so impressive. Shame on Chevrolet, but anyways stick to your factory wheel. Dang good looking truck.

I appreciate your response, but I still want to know if the swap can be done with no issues.
