I apologize if these sound like silly questions, but I know the ZR2 suspension is different than the normal GM HD truck. Based on what I've read from some of the posts on this site, when I get my ZR2:
1. I can crank up the front an inch or two by turning the keys and adding shock spacers?
2. Can I had an extra inch to the rear and just add rear shock spacers?

I know the normal leveling kits, etc, won't work on the ZR2, so I'm trying to get this figured out. I almost wish I would have went with an LTZ trail boss, but I like the ZR2 interior better and they hold their resale better for not costing much more.

I guess what I'm getting at is that I would want to raise front another inch and the rear another inch and go with a 20x9 +1 offset rim and a 35/12.5/20 tire. I want a slight poke out with the tires.

First of all, there is no LTZ Trail Boss. The highest trim level for a Trail Boss is the LT Trail Boss. Second, you can get a Peak Suspensions 1.25 inch Leveling kit for a ZR2 to raise the truck a bit and fit 35's. But you might still have to do some minor trimming. Plus, with the leveling kit on a ZR2 it is recommended to also change the upper control arms with UCA designed for a lift such as Cognito UCA or Dirt King UCA. Peak should have everything that you are looking for.

Just read your other post. Even though this is in the HD section you didn't mention here that you were getting the 2500 HD ZR2. My bad, sorry. The Peak leveling kits I was referring to are for the 1500 ZR2. Not sure if they have a kit for the 2500 HD ZR2. But I'm sure somebody that has more knowledge on the 2500 HD ZR2 will answer soon enough.

Torsion bars = 2500HD

Cognito makes a level kit, as do other mentioned in similar threads.

These trucks ride big, no need for a lift to run 37s. A few turns in the torsion bar key bolt and you'll be close.

If you add bigger blocks in the rear, you'll need to add spacers or lift to front.

As per his post, he only wants to run 35's. Will 35's fit the 2500 HD ZR2 without turning up the torsion bars?
