Intro - Warranty Question

New member here. I have 20+ years working in the insurance industry (not in sales). These "warranties" are service contracts. Good quality contracts are backed by a quality insurance company (Allstate, Assurant, Amtrust, etc). Make sure you ask the contract company who covers the program if the contract company goes bankrupt. If they can't tell you, DON'T BUY IT. Third party contracts allow you to choose your own repair facility, provide ancillary benefits like towing and lodging, and can be every bit as good...if not better...than factory programs. Just don't get caught up with ANY of the companies operating out of St. Louis, MO....Nothing but bad comes out of that town. Seriously.
