38 inch tires

Don't think I've seen this. I mounted up a 37x13.5 Toyo MT and it was close to rubbing on the UCAs with stock +32 mm offset Bison wheels.

If you try this, you'll need 0 or +12mm offset wheels. Should be enough clearance if you crank up torsion bars or level it.

I just added new tires 2 weeks ago... went with 37x12.50 Nitto RG on my stock Bison wheels. I almost went with a 38x13.50R18 RG just to be different and rag my buddies I had bigger tires but they were not easily available... And also what Axe said above. You can turn them on stock wheels but not without scrubbing and possible UCA issues.
