Method beadgrips with BFgoodrich 35s no lift, and yes i had to trim my inner fender and a little off the front bumper on the inside of the wheel well.

Traded my 2022 in on a 2024 with the baby max. The 22 ate another Fuel Pump Control Module while we were again 280 miles from home. At least this time I wasn’t in traffic. I used that as an excuse to get the baby max. Kind of nice to finally have all the ZR2 graphics on the DIC and Infotainment screens. This truck was also equipped with the Chevy bead lock wheels. Once things dry up, I’ll wash it and post some pictures.

Damn, after all that nice work you did to the front end, I thought you'd at least hit a deer or something before you got rid of it........LOL

I still have my trusty spare FPCM under my rear seat. It's like carrying an extra magazine, you never know when you might need it. I'm ready when it goes.........LOL.
 
Cab Mount Chop.

I have over 2” of front lift and was rubbing the fender liner, front bumper and rear cab mount. In my case, there was no way to have a fully functional truck without chopping the cab mount with 35” tires.
Badass. I'm right behind ya on this mod

Curious what size is that 35" tire (35x11.5, 35x12.5, 315/70R17)? Also interested in wheel size and offset.
 
Enjoyed it yesterday. Went by the river and got a couple of better pics while there lol.

First oil change today, 1700 miles, everything looked underneath and I’m happy it’s got fresh oil. The pan bolt gasket was interesting as it stuck to the pan and I almost missed it, I don’t see that one lasting a long time, pretty soft.
Side note, the OE filter was not the same size as PF66. The cup wrench I use slipped on the OE one but fit perfect on the PF66, I don’t know what that’s about but the OE said on the side label “replace with PF66”

Do you mean PF63? The PF 66 is not the correct filter. That has been corrected and should be the PF63. The PF63 has more holes and flows better, I think it's longer too. Search around and you'll see plenty of information on that screw up on other forums. I posted about it here av while back.

Those filters have variable tolerances and the cap wrenches aren't much better. The PF63 filter was recently redesigned as I mentioned in my recent oil filter thread. Not sure if the outer dimensions changed a bit or not.

I would.use a metal band wrench or even a filter pliers. There is plenty of room to work the wrench and it's more reliable.

Just firmly hand tighten the new filter and it won't take much effort to loosen it later.

I just installed Gatorback mud flaps. You can remove the end cap on the mud flap and remove the actual flap section if you go off roading...
