What did I do?! Bought a ZR2, so I’m new to you!

I’m seeing that. Though luckily, my needs are few. Rock sliders (easily found), upfitter switches (easily found), upgraded sound system (easy).

Now, cannot find rear tow hooks, have no idea about a gas tank skid (though I know the Bison one exists), not entirely sure about where to mount aux lights for offroad, and I need to get over how slow the Google Auto system is to respond to commands.
If you don't mind aluminum, Asfir has a tank skid, it's marked for gas like all their 1500 items, but don't know if there's a difference.

Aluminum is most welcome on my builds! 😁🙏 Off to chase a lead! Thank you!
Asfir had good feedback on the JL, I've got an engine/trans plate that's still in the box I've had for a while, buy I haven't used one personally yet. Asfir is Isrealli made.

Also ran across Talon's Garage. US made, looks like they started doing cat converter covers then added skids. Also aluminum.

EDIT: Watch shipping on Asfir, they do come from Isreal and it wasn't real cheap to ship IIRC.

🤣😂 Trouble is, I would only have had enough cheddar on hand to roll home a Ford Maverick. 😉 Though, on 40’s, that would look pretty cool. 😎😆
i'm not sure 40's would fit . . .

Ahem. Please stop. Stop spending my money! New Talon skid ordered, in production on Monday! 😁🙂

FYI, Northridge can order anything from the brands they stock so you can use the JL forum discount and rewards from your Jeep still.

I struck out on non bumper rear recovery points on the 2500, settled for a Factor 55 hitchlink, luckily the 2.5 for the HD hitch is uprated pretty good. I moved up to 1/2" soft shackles, but realistically your 1500 isn't that much heavier than a heavy JLU so the standard stuff should be good.

Find a winch mount yet?

Very useful to know! I have some 3/4” soft shackles plus a bunch of d-rings. Just need to double check the hitch mount unit I have.

Honestly, unknown to me. Previously owner did the change. Upper control arm is from Ready Lift. Never heard of them personally.
Ready Lift is where Wheel Pros (the guys who bought Teraflex, Rubicon Express, Poison Spyder) is consolidating a lot of their lift stuff. I remember them starting out with IFS strut spacer lifts early on. I think they've gotten better over the years, but wouldn't be my go-to for quality. Maybe a slot between a Rough Country and TFlex?

Going to be good enough for my immediate needs I figure. 🙂 But I’ll consider upgrading them fairly soon. I tend to believe that overkill is a reasonable starting point for most things. 😉
