So, what yall think of this new RHO? It has the same ground clearance that the Bison has, and more HP. Says it gets 15mpg city, 21 hwy but that remains to be seen (depending on how much you get on it). Starts at around the same price without lifter or other engine/transmission issues (for now). A baby TRX. Idk, I’m just curious. Looking at these, haven’t done much research yet.

The Ram I have as a rental has the SST in it. I am not overly impressed. Its pretty much the same specs as the 6.2L if memory serves but it sure doesn't feel like it.

Yeah, I’m just getting opinions. JIC this outstanding GM quality of a vehicle shits the bed. I only have 1k miles on it, so hopefully no time soon.

You better be doing a spirited break in, keeping the mpg around 12 and dumping the oil by Saturday or it'll take a shit for sure.

Mine is pretty much the only one left on this forum that runs, but I take care of it by running it hard once in a while and changing the oil often.

I changed the break in oil at 850 miles. Put it in sport mode some and got on it. Going to Broken Bow, Ok soon and going to find a trail I can engage the 4x4 on. I’ve been reading all of yalls input and will do my best from it dying early on me for sure.

@Jrod make sure to post some pics and videos from the trail.

Interesting question, I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’ve done a lot of research on the RHO, it’s a beautiful truck with a lot of trick parts (live valve shocks, lots of screen technology,!massaging seats, etc.). I thought about pulling the trigger on one but what scares me is the resale value if RAM brings back a V-8. That seems to be one of the biggest complaints, and it’s all over the interwebs that a V-8 is on the way back. (They have to reengineer the electrical system for a V8.). Oh and the mileage for the RHO is 15city, 17hwy, 16 combined. Probably because it has all-time 4 wheel drive.

I see it as one of the “Bro” trucks (Raptor,TRX) anyway. First year for this engine, so curious how it will hold up and what might go wrong. As someone else said, all the manufacturers are charging a ton of $ for a crap product but we all go and get hoping it will last long enough. I put that updated Range DFM in and already changed my break in oil. All I can do is what AXE said, and hopefully it lasts with minimal problems. I love my Bison.

Agreed, I love my ZR2 as well, and the more I look at the initial problems the RHO is having, the more I'll just stay with known issues - just hoping my L87 doesn't grenade itself...

Yall see this prospector? Damn.
