Exhaust Options for 3.0 Duramax

Any one have sound clips of exhaust options for the 3.0 Duramax? Or any exhaust recommendations?

This is my first diesel (absolutely loving it) but definitely miss that classic V8 sound. I heard some nice diesels in my day and wanted to see what y’all have done.

Be careful on the diesels, cause changes to the exhaust will likely throw codes unless you do a full tune and adjust the operating parameters. Diesel exhaust systems a very complex vs gassers.

Ahh I see, it seems most mods are pre Cat. I was just trying to make the truck louder haha.

I would check out youtube and see if anyone has done anything with the 3.0 exhaust

I will be picking my 3.0 diesel ZR2 up, hopefully in the next week or so (it has been sitting in a yard in Albany waiting on transport for two weeks now), and I too have been looking into options for a bit of sound. AFE lists an exhaust for 23-24, and I would imagine it would be compatible, I haven't dug too deeply into it yet, but given that its DPF back it probably won't do much.

I know it won't ever be anything close to my old tuned LMM, but coming from my current AT4 6.2 with the performance cat back and intake I am going to miss a bit of rumble, but I'm sure the greatly improved ride and capabilities over the AT4 will suffice for now!
