Let's try this again; my first attempt was deleted.

Hey. I picked up a '22 1500 ZR2 this past weekend when I traded in my Colorado ZR2 Desert Boss. In the Glacier Blue Metallic - the flagship color for the 1500 ZR2 - it's a color I've lusted after since its release.

I'm stoked on finally right-sizing my truck. Prior to the Colorado, I drove a 2500 Duramax Denali for many years. After I sold the camper that required the big truck, I had no need for such a big truck, so she was traded on the Colorado. And while the mid-size Colorado was a sweet rig, I over-rotated on down-sizing. The turbo 4 motor and DSSV dampers were excellent. So it was only fitting that I find the middle ground with the 1500 ZR2. The 6.2L is low-key smooth, grunty, and rowdy when you get into it. With a backseat that can accommodate more than one motorcycle gear bag is a huge improvement, as is the larger bed.

I'm in line at my local dealership for the software update and for a tailgate module recall. The truck is otherwise unmolested.

My plans for this truck are light; running boards, likely some mudflaps as this truck will see plenty of gravel, mud, and dirt roads. The front windows will likely receive a light tint. And I think a BlendMount and power tap for my V1 radar detector is likely. Otherwise, it will haul motorcycles, tow my trailer, and general truck things.

Sorry about deleting your first post BobyCat. I just had to make sure you were real. It's my first day back from a week of Glamping.
Great choice on the motor.
