New puddle light options

As an FYI for those getting these lights, 2 things…

There is a left and right side as denoted on the lights, they won’t seat well on the wrong side, but they have an “L” for the drivers side and an “R” for the passenger side.

I was having trouble getting the passenger side to seat and lock into place, after a while I compared the light that came out with the one going in, the one thing I noticed was the spring tab was sticking down a little too low on the end, once I saw that I simply used the screwdriver tip that came in the package to push up on the end of the spring load to flex it up slightly and she popped right into place.

After it gets darker I will spin the lens to straighten out the image on the ground and get some pics.
love the tips and tricks. Good looking out!

"L" refers to the left side of the vehicle, while "R" refers to the right side. In China, the driver’s side is on the left.

Ok, moment of truth and opinion. The lights were easy to adjust to whichever direction I wanted, ZR2 readable as you exit or as you approach the vehicle, NICE! Are they brighter than the stock units, yes, are they as bright as they look in pictures, no, these new cameras on our phones can take pictures in pitch black and make it look like it’s dusk out, so this picture looks brighter than they are in person. The first pic is on the asphalt driveway and it is fairly dark out with not much light around, the second pic is from the edge of the driveway in the grass with a light behind me which is a pretty bad picture but is representative. I like ‘em a lot!!!

Thanks @Mixander Xi !!!

Thank you, My brother

If you encounter the following issue while installing the puddle lights, here’s a solution: If the ZR2 logo is facing the wrong direction, you can rotate the white part to adjust its orientation.
