6.2L Engine replacement

Thats what the dealer is replacing the oil with after the inspection. I guess to play it safe, it wouldn't be a bad idea to use Mobil 1 Super Car.

Wow! After looking at the price of Mobil 1 S/C, I'm already missing using my tried and true Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. 😉
Right! I used standard Pennzoil Platinum. $50 bucks for oil wasn’t so bad. Now it’s like $118 and you don’t have left overs lol.

Will GM reimburse for 3x $$$ oil changes? No fucking way Mary Barra is cutting into her $30 million payday, plus she's got a new Cadillac SUV EV she's promoting that'll lose $30k per unit. Tough titty 6 2ers......you get the green weenie again!

Where does it say no remedy? Is it on the dealership computer? I don't see it on any of the info that I have.
Right at the bottom of the screen shots I got from Progressive. It's basically how all recalls are handled. They fix the shit in the sales pipeline first, then the heathens get the crumbs.

I figured they would fix the unsold vehicles before us is why it said it. Only the bottom line matters.

Top right corner when I look online at the recall for my truck. Says incomplete, remedy not available under status..

I found it. It doesn't say anything about no remedy on the Chevy app but if you look online at the GM recall center it says "incomplete remedy not available" .....just as Byrds said. Sorry I questioned you, bud.

Just looked at OnStar, definitely no mention about remedy availability. Bright Orange letters "Required".

My SA sent me this. Mine is at dealer, so I thought I'd ask, but not terribly concerned since I just did a change.

That's the same as the Chevy app. How long will it take till they are able to remedy this is anyone's guess.

When they are done with the dealer ones and they have 850K more oil caps :)

Knowing GM, there will be a national back order by 5pm and a 3 month wait. LOL

I figure this will be a 90 day fix to address current manufacturing and inventory, then the plebs will be heard!
