Just bought a 2025 1500 ZR2 about a month ago. I also ordered the range DFM disabler and peddle monster. Wanted y’all’s thoughts on the peddle monster before I install if it’s a good one or if there’s a better throttle response controller for the truck.

I believe a lot of folks, myself included, use the below.

I have used a Banks PM on my last 2 trucks, a 21 RST with the 3 liter diesel and now a 24 ZR2 with the 3 liter diesel, they work great and have 30 levels to choose from and the reverse disable so you don't go shooting backwards at a high speed. I know a lot of the guys use the ultimate but I don't know it's specs to know how they compare, but I do like the Banks stuff, it is well engineered and quality built.

Banks puts in the work and does a lot of testing and dyno work. They publish the results and videos and to me that's worth the investment.

There is no "dyno" work on a throttle controller. The Ultimate9 is in a class by itself and is much nicer than the Banks IMPO. I have tried both and the U9 is the hands down winner. I also like the fact it can act as an anti-theft device by totally disabling the throttle which no other controller on the market can do.

Get the Ultimate9 and never look back!

The statement stands alone and you only read one part of that three part statement! They can be trusted, but I've never purchased a Banks product in my life.
