Thanks again, Is there an external way for customers to check status without going through the dealer? (Something we can do ourselves.) I’ve used the Chevy website virtual assist chat and that’s mildly helpful. Doesn’t give the event code which would be nice to get upon status check.

That's the only way I know of for customers to check status with GM.
