The dealer installed lowjack in my truck with a year free. I activated it and the app shows where I go and top speed. Any idea where it is located? I’m sure the Chevy app is somehow doing the same but I just don’t like it.

They don't like you to know. Every lowjack dealer installer won't tell you. I have had it installed on both My 5th and 6th Gen ZL1 Camaro's. They were installed behind the passenger side sill plates. All it needs is a 12v power supply and room to extend a wire type antennae. I would look to the rear sill plates towards the rear of the door.
