New puddle light options

是的,我觉得写着纽约很奇怪,但我想那只是意味着有本地库存。我通过此帖子中的原始链接订购了。

Yeah I thought it was odd it said NY but figured that just meant there was stock local. I ordered off the original link in this thread.
Looks like there’s a mix-up with the logistics company’s info. If you can send me the name on your order, I’ll check it for you.
Right now, we don’t have inventory in New York, but we’re planning to set up stock in Los Angeles soon.

Sent. Let me know what you find out.

Thanks.

Don't worry, The shipping info from the 19th was wrong, but it’s been updated now.

Don’t worry, I’ve already urged the logistics company, and they’ll speed it up.
Thanks Mix, good to know. I am a little excited though since the puddle lights have been accepted at the NJ hub of the last mile delivery company, whoever that might be, so if I can trust the logistics it is almost here. Also the grill light kit has arrived at JFK airport in NY, so it is getting closer too!

I’d rather give Mixander the $89-$99 for cool lights than give GM $125+tax for their boring lights, and I wonder how Mixander might prove military for a discount, I have verification through the VA app, my veteran medical card and my DD-214, but I wonder how to keep people from taking advantage of that. IMHO

Or a forum discount. That’s free advertising the more we talk about it!
Mixander didn’t advertise it, I did, sometimes I wonder if I just should have picked up a set and not posted anything about it. When you try and nickel and dime the little guy who brings a good product to market at a reasonable price (I know it cost $23-25 minimum to ship it here from China), it just makes it less likely someone will go through all that for little to no payback. Again, IMHO.

Dude. No one is trying to nickel and dime anyone. Everyone and their momma wonders about discounts or coupons etc for savings. That happens every day. As for your original verification question, ID.me works for that. Several sites to include the VA and Apple use it.

I’m not saying asking if any discounts are available is a bad thing, but I’m not sure a small one man company in China has access to ID.me, what I am saying is that these lights are cheap, and if I think they aren’t a good deal I don’t have to buy them, and if it isn’t worth it to produce people will stop making things like this available. Don’t take it personally, I did say IMHO.

I agree with you. I don’t think asking is a bad thing. Answer can always be no. I’m not offended by that. If he can’t do it that’s fine too.

As an FYI for those getting these lights, 2 things…

There is a left and right side as denoted on the lights, they won’t seat well on the wrong side, but they have an “L” for the drivers side and an “R” for the passenger side.

I was having trouble getting the passenger side to seat and lock into place, after a while I compared the light that came out with the one going in, the one thing I noticed was the spring tab was sticking down a little too low on the end, once I saw that I simply used the screwdriver tip that came in the package to push up on the end of the spring load to flex it up slightly and she popped right into place.

After it gets darker I will spin the lens to straighten out the image on the ground and get some pics.
