I had lifters replaced on one side of the motor on my previous truck.
I hear the lifter tick on my 2025 sometimes. I'm not worried. The dealer can't install better lifters.

My 5.3L in my 15 Silverado dropped 3 lifters and destroyed the motor. Replaced under warranty. But, so far, my 6.2L has been fine.

I lost my engine at 7000km they put new one in but that's it my truck broke down 15 hrs drive away from home and I had to find my one way . Then find a way to get back there to get my truck 3 months later. And gm did nothing in regards to giving me any dollars to compensate for money out of pocket

100% with you on this! I'm at 51K on my 22 and I love this truck. I've got the GM Protection Plan good for 125K so I guess if it goes I'll just wait on the replacement... or find an LT4 out of a wrecked C8.

I like the way you think. I know a guy in TX that had his new ZO6 totaled by a civic side wiping him with less than 300 miles on it. I’m sure it’s been auctioned and picked clean by now though. I have to say the damage it did would make me terrified to hit a bug with one at speed and I’m a former C5 owner.
