Happy I got rid of my 23 ZR2 and moved into a 2500HD 6.6L DMAX. Really loving the diesel.

Not every 6.2 or AFM/DFM engine shits the bed. I get it’s a problem but for God sake man.
Squeaky wheel gets the grease. How many threads are posted across all forums with the title “engine didn’t fail” or “Engine still running at X miles”
2400 members here and a handful at best of threads with internal engine problems.
Salt to taste.

I had lifters replaced on one side of the motor on my previous truck.
I hear the lifter tick on my 2025 sometimes. I'm not worried. The dealer can't install better lifters.
How does GM not warranty something with a catastrophic failure?
