Whats bad is I actually had the brake controller one first before the service bulletin and I was the one who posted on here about the oil coolers leaking around 40k and I forgot both of those lmao

Tailgate latch dropping the gate on its own also.
Update hanging up and draining the battery overnight. (I had that one happen also)
Do we count the 1500s not being able to go in to neutral after the motor blows?

I'm going to have to make a third trip to the dealer to get my tonneau cover replaced. GM said not their problem, selling dealer had to call manufacturer. Manufacturer just said it might be 4 more weeks for approval after acknowledging the huge crack in the seam......LMFAO. There's a new tonneau cover sitting at the dealer for 6 weeks waiting for install.

I still like the trucks, just way to much drama for me.

I just had a few injectors replaced, under warranty. GM didn't deny the claim. No charge to me. As for everything else....fingers crossed. What else am I gonna do

So, we need more info. Can someone who is an insider find and post the TSB for this recall? I want to know what they are actually doing. I'm afraid that due to the volume of vehicles affected, they are going to just change my oil and filter and pretend it's all good...

I called my local dealership and that's exactly what they are doing. They said they are going from 0W-20 to 0W-40. Running the wrong oil for a year plus can't be great. I've noticed lag in the engine, but their first step is to "change the oil and see how it does".

When I called the dealerships here they acted like they didn’t know what to do. Gotta love those types maybe I should call the ones in PCola lol.

Yep! You're safe driving it.....til it seizes in the middle of the interstate.

This will take years to fully resolve. They will slow walk it, so it doesn't impact their quarterly earnings significantly during the process. That way the stock price won't be affected.

It'll be interesting to see if they announce the expected actions and impairment charges during their next quarterly report, which won't be until July mow. Perhaps they will announce it pre-earnings.

Right now, Wall Stree seems to be digesting it just fine, maybe they don't think it's a big deal.

Well, the way they are doing it, almost all will pass inspection. So basically everyone gets a free oil change. Most likely that is all most are seeing. Free oil change so that’s nothing.
