WTF is up with Knapp Chevy?

Amazing! Chad answered the phone and is already setting up the paperwork, although he has to get approval as it's too close to my factory warranty ending. I said well if your associate had fixed me up months ago we'd be in a better place.
He's gonna call me back.
Glad he could help.

Not sure why it matters how close you are but I believe they will still get it done. I had til October 31st before mine expired.

Motherfu*kers. I don't have much of a temper but these dipshi*s got me going.
After Chad answered the phone ( Thanks Byrds8 ) he takes my CC info, quotes me $ 2985 or so, OK. Give him my VIN which had been given to Kevin VanErt awhile ago, he comes back and says my existing warranty is out of date, so they won't sell me an extended warranty except for double the price...
I gave him a bit of attitude, but fu*k this. He says let me talk to his manager, while I waited on his call, my computer beeped, email from Kevin VanErt stating he couldn't match my rquest for an under $3000 quote for a 5/50000 request, which he quoted on 04/03/25! MOFO
I called back and Chad somehow magically connected me to Kevin (!) who said its out of warranty nothing they can do.

I'll stop my rant, I got a call, they are honoring the 5/50000 for $3141. I told them if I was their boss I'd fire them all, but thanks for the warranty.

Axe, I might regret not just trading my ZR2 in, but I really like my truck!

FYI, do not start shopping for an extended warranty when you are within 30 days of the factory warrany expiring.

F' me, what a joke.

Starts the day you pay. I found out the hard way.
Bought the extended warranty thinking i would keep the truck long term like the rest of the stuff I care for.
After 1 year I traded the 1st POS in.
Asked for a refund on the extended warranty. Took 2 months. I think I paid $2100. Got a $1700 refund check.
It also wouldn't have covered the headlight assy which was a $2000 repair under chevy warranty
Fortunately I can trade my truck in every 3 years now and not deal with it.
Need to read and understand what you sign Before you sign it.

And I understood that I buy a brand new truck and it wouldn't give me any problems
How did that work out?
So I buy an extended warranty and should have asked if I would get my full amount of an extended warranty after i trade my POS truck in after first year?
I need you to cover all my bases next time when buying a brand new truck

Well first read this to understand that what you bought is not an Extended Warranty. There is a difference. After that then read the associated Terms and Conditions and if there are any questions they should be addressed to the administrator of the product or as otherwise directed in the contract prior to executing it.

This link should answer your questions and the text was too many characters to post in this thread so sorry for that.

I've been trying for months to get a quote/purchase an extended warranty from Knapp Chevy from recommendations on this board.
I keep getting replies saying 'we sent you your quote, give us more info' I've sent the info many times, phone calls go unanswered. I've never had so much trouble spending $$ in my life!?
Anyone have any advice, if they don't want my business that's ok, just F'n tell me so!

I actually finally got an emailed quote but need to get a vehicle inspection done, that's fine but I'm not gonna spend $$ on n inspection if I can't speak to a actual person.

Here are some quotes for the GM Platinum P{lan.
4/40,000 with 250 deductible is 2572.00 100 deductible is 2776.00 0 deductible is 3035

5/50,000 is $3141 with 250, 3441.00 with 111 3815 with zero deductible.
An inspection is required.
See attachment for inspection forms.

You guys have any better options?

I just purchased a Car Shield Diamond package extended warranty for mine. $2,599 with 250/500 deductible 7 year 120k miles. I was skeptical of their coverage at first. It’s the same thing that you would get from a dealership without giving them a commission for selling it to you.
