2022 6.2 L Scoring cylinder piston

Got 30000 /300 dollars on points but that’s not good enough not worth my time and inconvenience and loss of 3.5 months existing warranty
If the parts delay drags out I sure will be asking for more. I’m paying for something I can’t use because they can’t figure out how to keep parts in a shelf.

Have a loaner but that’s part on doing business with warranty issues . That’s not acceptable. As stated in my phone conversation and emails I’ve been pressing on for an extended warranty on-top of all the waiting . I guess there on the dealership about getting this engine fixed they received on Tuesday last week. NOT MY
PROBLEM also stated how they are getting investigated by NHTSA on there 6.2 motors (ain’t that what I got) Funny no reply back but I’ll get a call on Monday like normal

Don't take delivery until you get the warranty you want, or they pretend you accepted the terms.

Update here’s a real kicker for you so GM gives me absolutely no extended warranty for the loss of four months on my standard warranty. They give me a lousy $300 for me being out of the vehicle for four months due to my engine being on recall and replaced and then there excuse to me for not giving me an extended warranty was since my car was purchased in Canada. It’s can’t be done they say (bullshit)so my advice to GM people out there don’t buy a fucking chevywith a 6.2 don’t buy GM ever again and tell the top brass in GM and the representative to go fuck themselves !!!! because it’s a worthless piece of shit company when it comes to taking care of a loyal customers of 30 years. It’s just unbelievable how they would save a dollar over the issues I had!

GM only sees the sales of new vehicles; if you buy a new vehicle you’re boosting their sales. That’s the opposite of:
don’t buy GM ever again and tell the top brass in GM and the representative to go fuck themselves !!!!

Maybe the 3.0 is better but it’s still supported by the same group that just did you dirty.

Here the new truck

Looks like a nice ride. If not mistaken though, the 3.0 has its own issues like the 6.2.
This is the new 3.0. Know 2 people that have 2024 ZR2's with them one is a very close friend. Absolutely no issues with outstanding fuel economy.

Well that settles it then.......LMFAO!

I'll stick with the time tested proven adage......."tits or tires, your gonna have trouble"!

So two people dont have issues. That doesnt account for much. Just a quick search looks to show people do have some issues with the engine. Granted, since it was redesigned only 2 years ago, there isnt as much data to go off of as the 6.2L.

My statement still stands....they ALL have issues these days of some sort.
