Just curious, do you happen to have the Chevy / GM part number for this. The 404Parts people apparently don’t want us to shop for a better price and don’t list the part number for this item.

Looking over it, there was no P/N that I could find. I know it was greatly more expensive than just getting a chrome one but since the insurance is going to cover its replacement I figured why the hell not. I deserve it lol.

I will say the one from Complete Vehicle Design was more expensive than the one from 404 though.

Supposed to get an update tomorrow on if all the parts are finally in.
I did talk them into painting the skid plate black vs silver so there is that lol.
Guessing about a week or so if the parts are in to get her back.
So looking forward to it.

Skid plate or lower fascia? Skid plate isn't that visible, but lower facia is. You could do that for about $10 bucks with some bed liner rattle can.

This is true but if they can do it vs spraying it all silver then might as well let them take care of it.

Lower fascia is worth good paint or Line X in my case, not the "skid" plate. A 70s Schlitz can is more durable than the faux "skid plate".

Honestly, I thought that whole piece was the skid plate. So hopefully he understood what I meant since I said instead of painting in silver please paint it black. I also pointed out to him the entire face of the truck is black except that.

I'll hit him up tomorrow again to make sure we are on the same page .

Looks like I'll be in the rental for a while. The grill and shutters both are on backorder til at least the 21st of February. Fucking GM.

Crazier update. Collision center is now saying GM has said 13 March for the shutters and no ETA at all on the grill. FFS this is ridiculous.

Yeah no doubt. Still irritating as fuck. Guess it’s not as bad as the ones waiting 3 months on an engine but still damn sure getting close if it takes to mid march.

One of the salesman I talked with was in a front end corner collision a couple years back. Said it took about 3 months to get parts. So it's been an issue for some time. They have no incentive to fix their supplier issues apparently.

Doesn’t seem so. It sure does turn me off though having to wait because GM can’t pull their head out.
