Thanks for the firewall wire pass through ideas fellas!

@AXE Looked for that rubber piece /grommet on the driver's underside and didn't see it or just didn't look in the right place.
Ended up going through the passenger side firewall wire harness, behind the battery. Took the battery out and removed the liner to have a little more room to work. Cut the rubber seal cone and slid it through on the side and sprayed some flex seal to close it back up. Flex seal worked out nice. Worked on it til 1:30am this morning. That's the only time I had this week..... after I got home and had dinner at 10:30pm. last night.
Got the switch box mounted up after a few mods to the mounting plate, but didn't connect it to the battery yet. The ones Bulletpoint adds in the kit are too short. So ordered some longer ones from Amazon. They will be here today.
All the other wiring is done except for the rock lights and the front light bar. The light bar was a freebie my neighbor gave me because his jeep took a dump.....(imagine that

)
I'm either going to put it behind the grill, because it's too big to put on the bumper, it's a straight bar....or just order a curved 52 in.... so that's going to have to wait for another day, but the wiring on that should be simple and quick.
I did all the wiring the right way with crimped heat shrink connectors and then more heat shrink tubing over the connections and then everything went inside 3/4 in wire loom. I took my time and tucked it all up along the side of the frame and up under the wheel liners.... so no snags on the trails or getting tore off when I bottom out.
Also re-did all the old wiring from the other 2 light bars that I mounted to the overland rack last year with new loom and heat shrink and tucked it all together with the new lights. Proper cable management is a must!
Waiting for the rock light kit to come

. They said delivery would be around 17th to the 23rd. As soon as the battery cables come tomorrow, I will wire everything else to the switch box and test it out.
Also still waiting

on extensions for the LED truck bed light kit. The kit came with two extra 10 ft, but not sure it'll make it to where I want it.... so I ordered 2 extra. It connects to a control box to change the light color. I'd rather zip tie extra wires than stretch everything and/or not have enough wire. It's B.S. cuz It's a special 3 pin extension from Nlight, not a common 3 pin.
Work is crazy busy and to top it off I have jury duty this coming Monday.... Like I really need to sit and spend a day listening to attorneys circle jerk other....

Forgot to take some pictures,cuz I am soo tired and have to work again in later this today. Gonna hit the sack in a minute. I'll post some in the next few days.
Open to ideas here fellas..... I'm not 100% sure on the light bar for the front yet, because next year's mod is the front bumper and the winch and I think ADD makes the bumper with the light bar space in it. I was thinking once I check out how bright the rough country ditch lights are, I might just wait for the new bumper with the winch. I know some of you fellas have the RC ditch lights. Are they pretty bright? I got the extended angle kit. Not a big fan of amber. Any thoughts? Thanks ahead of time!
My wife drives the bus for the RTC and this is the first year in a long time she will have both Christmas and New Year's off... so definitely looking forward to spending it together without having to be elbow to elbow with all the drunks. When she worked New Year's in the past, the only way we can be together is if I get on a bus and ride along. I don't like all the New Year's crowds. They close off a lot of roads for the Strip shows and fireworks and it makes getting around town absolutely miserable....BUT if you've never been in Las Vegas for New Year's you should try it at least once, It's quite the show.
I Definitely can't stand big crowds especially in confined places though. Nowadays it's just a ticking time bomb for trouble!!! We enjoyed it for a few years when we first moved here 23 years ago, but it's a different world now and not for the better.
Really hoping to have everything up and running so we can get out of the city for a week or so after Christmas. Hopefully camping out on a trail somewhere

Maybe even with snow.... Not everyone gets to live in Colorado with all those fun snowy trails like
@ZR2BIZON
Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving with loved ones and friends and are plans for a great Christmas/New Year!
