Ultimate9 Throttle Controller is truly the ULTIMATE!!!

Thanks, I finally just removed the pedal and figured it out. This thing is pretty impressive. I have it on ultimate 4. Tried ultimate 6 and it was pretty jumpy. Especially when reversing. Also tried the launch mode. Pretty cool but will need to put it in auto and turn off traction control or it will leave rubber on the pavement.
Yeah definitely going to go through tires quicker 🤣

I have the range DFM module and the ultimate 9. Love them both for the purposes they serve. No CEL, have had them both installed now for about 2 months and driven the truck daily.

I ride around with the U9 in 5 and the drive mode normal. I’m pleased just because I don’t have to turn on tow haul/L9 mode almost everytime I get in the truck anymore and I don’t have to also hit the auto start/stop button every god damn time I get in. Love these two products.

Anyone suggest a particular CAI for me? Or would it just be pointless at this point? Thanks.

As stated before on this forum, the factory air box is pretty good. If you just want to clean up under the hood then go with something like air aid jr or K&N FIPK tubes and leave the factory box. You really wont feel a difference changing out the factory air box.

CAI is a BIG waste of money. As @DNZR2 stated above...look at the Airaid Jr. kit. That's your best option.

Anyone get any error messages in the DIC from installing the Ultimate 9?
I've had it on for about 9months now with no issues and just recently started getting an intermittent messages saying "service transmission, limited shifts soon". (or something to that effect)

I went to the dealership and they gave be the following bulletin.

Could be the UC9 went bad, so now it's causing the issue. Run it without for a while and then go back to it to see if it throws the code again.

About 4 months in now and no issues so far. It does hold the lower gears a bit longer before shifting, but nothing else.

Doubtful, but worth a try to see if the issue resolves itself since it's only a 2 minute disconnect.
Always eliminate the first problem first, then move onto the second problem second, if there's a third problem sell it.

Although we don't see many transmission issues on the ZR2 Forum, YouTube & Reddit are flush with 10L80 transmission issues, so that's the second check. Dealer won't listen to you until you eliminate the first as stated in their bulletin.

Zero issues, but thanks for the warning. Every time I go to the dealer, I'll remove the evcx9 JUST IN CASE.
I've taken my 22 to the dealership I use with both the ultimate 9 and the Range DFM disabler and never had any codes or warnings. The service tech I take it to is very 😎 cool. They only ask what it is and about the extra wiring from 2 switches for the light bars on my overland rack and that was months ago.

Remember a dealership has to prove it was your mod that caused any failure and it was not Chevrolet's flawless engineering 🤣

Yeah, I'm about done with my current local stealership.
They are the least helpful of any I've ever dealt with.
Every time I go in for something they tell me there is no issue or it's my fault.
They tried to charge me $781 to uplug the U9...
Told them last summer my trailer brake controller doesn't work and they told me I have to bring a trailer in to prove it when the codes are still recent in the History.
