Yeah definitely going to go through tires quickerThanks, I finally just removed the pedal and figured it out. This thing is pretty impressive. I have it on ultimate 4. Tried ultimate 6 and it was pretty jumpy. Especially when reversing. Also tried the launch mode. Pretty cool but will need to put it in auto and turn off traction control or it will leave rubber on the pavement.
As stated before on this forum, the factory air box is pretty good. If you just want to clean up under the hood then go with something like air aid jr or K&N FIPK tubes and leave the factory box. You really wont feel a difference changing out the factory air box.I have the range DFM module and the ultimate 9. Love them both for the purposes they serve. No CEL, have had them both installed now for about 2 months and driven the truck daily.
I ride around with the U9 in 5 and the drive mode normal. I’m pleased just because I don’t have to turn on tow haul/L9 mode almost everytime I get in the truck anymore and I don’t have to also hit the auto start/stop button every god damn time I get in. Love these two products.
Anyone suggest a particular CAI for me? Or would it just be pointless at this point? Thanks.
CAI is a BIG waste of money. As @DNZR2 stated above...look at the Airaid Jr. kit. That's your best option.I have the range DFM module and the ultimate 9. Love them both for the purposes they serve. No CEL, have had them both installed now for about 2 months and driven the truck daily.

Didn't want to let the team down
Not yet.Anything out there that stops the governor?
ZERO issuesAnyone get any error messages in the DIC from installing the Ultimate 9?
I've had it on for about 9months now with no issues and just recently started getting an intermittent messages saying "service transmission, limited shifts soon". (or something to that effect)
I went to the dealership and they gave be the following bulletin.
Could be the UC9 went bad, so now it's causing the issue. Run it without for a while and then go back to it to see if it throws the code again.Anyone get any error messages in the DIC from installing the Ultimate 9?

About 4 months in now and no issues so far. It does hold the lower gears a bit longer before shifting, but nothing else.Anyone get any error messages in the DIC from installing the Ultimate 9?

Doubtful, but worth a try to see if the issue resolves itself since it's only a 2 minute disconnect.Could be the UC9 went bad, so now it's causing the issue. Run it without for a while and then go back to it to see if it throws the code again.
Always eliminate the first problem first, then move onto the second problem second, if there's a third problem sell it.Doubtful, but worth a try to see if the issue resolves itself since it's only a 2 minute disconnect.
I've taken my 22 to the dealership I use with both the ultimate 9 and the Range DFM disabler and never had any codes or warnings. The service tech I take it to is veryZero issues, but thanks for the warning. Every time I go to the dealer, I'll remove the evcx9 JUST IN CASE.
