I got sandwiched on the interstate between some semis and the one in front was hauling gravel…and it started dumping it unintentionally (ended up with dents on my hood, cracked windshield, and numerous dings…I couldn’t back off as semis were behind me…I hit the limiter quick as speed limit was 80 and got pounded for longer than I should have with gravel as a result. Pissed me off for numerous reasons

Has anyone been able to remove the speed limiter yet, i drive on 70mph hiways and when you pass 3 vehicles, it will hit the limiter, my 19 high country didnt shut down till 115mph, i think its a safety issue.

It’s too bad it shuts down the fun at 98 because the truck really pulls from 80 to 98 and then shuts down the fun. It’s probably good for me because when I’m in the wife’s Audi I see 110-130 frequently on the interstate. I have driven like that since I was 16. I’m still trying to grow up at 53. Wife says “just cause it goes 150 doesn’t mean you should”. I’m still trying to digest that statement. I’m making progress.

If you hit the 98 mph limiter going down a 6% grade and throw it into neutral, you can break 100 mph.

Just tell her your paying for the power to go that fast so you might as well make use of it.
