Speed limit reference

Has anyone else's speed limit reference indicator started working without having any active Onstar subscriptions? When I first got the truck I know you had to have an Onstar data subscription for that to work. I don't have any of the paid for services right now. I also noticed that if i click on the integrated maps button I get the message that says an active subscription is required to use this service but if i dismiss that, a live map comes up with accurate GPS location. The search feature of the map is still not working as it does give an offline map indicator under the search bar. Anyone else
having this occurrence?

Haha. Well not one I actively pay for. Pretty much can’t get away from being tracked these days.
