Trump Administration To Roll Back Vehicle Emissions To 2020 Standards

Needs to be 2008 pre-dpf and agm/dfm otherwise it's meaningless for vehicular applications.

What it does do for industrial standards is give them a lifeline to operate longer and not have to comply with onerous regulations or shut down due to the green new deal byllshit that was ushered in under Biden.

So utilities, manufacturing, oil and gas, mining should benefit which should slow inflation, maybe reverse it a bit.

I'd think it could potentially allow manufacturers to tune for lower def consumption though.

There's probably some adjustments that can be made. However, the motors are designed to operate with these systems in place. It would take a lot of time and money to redesign and retool to eliminate them.

It would also take a lot of political will to step up and do it. I'm not sure that exists in corporate America anymore. I think at best, some aftermarket solutions may help consumers.
