Not quite sure how to describe this but I have noticed some differences temperature/heater performance in my ZR2 versus prior Silverados (2021 LTZ, 2014, etc.).
1. The temperature reads what appears to be the inside temperature in summer. For example, 120+ degrees after sitting in a parking lot whereas my LTZ seemed to always read the outside temperatures, typically consistent with my weather app.
2. During the winter, I have to crank my heater up to 78 or higher to warm the truck. I don't remember having to crank it this high in prior trucks and oh by the way, the Tundra rental I am currently in gets toasty at 72-73-ish.
Is this a ZR2-ism or should I take it in?
Thanks,
Rick
