Software Update Recall and Door Locks

Sitting at the dealership now. Came in for a software update recall, but also because my passive door handle button and tailgate button have stopped functioning in the unlock mode. It will lock when I press them, but will not unlock, so I have to use the remote.

I had the same issue and read on this form or another. Hold down the lock and unlock button on the remote fob, the truck will cycle lock and unlock. after that the passive door handle worked as intended. Not sure what caused it, my thinking was the fob in my pocket was being pushed for a long period of time and put it in a lock out mode or somehing

I knew I should have asked the forum about it. I spent the last two weeks while traveling/waiting for my appointment, being annoyed by the locks. They fixed it today by resetting it. I can definitely imagine I pressed against the remote in a way that caused it.
