I hope it’s true, but if this is official it does not address those of us already in possession. It will be very interesting to see if they can narrow this down to certain VINs. What is bullshit is the highlighted “parts do not exist”. They do exist in that they should stop production and divert those motors and the ones in transit to dealerships where they’ll be needed to perform the swaps. Parts are always available or else they wouldn’t build new ones but of course very few companies care about you post transaction. Mary was trying to kick the can down the road until NHTSA got involved. Just another signal of how the execs are running this brand. Shitty new world.
