Sand Dune Silverado ZR2 Photo Thread

What’s the best way to remove the badging? I’ve tried a few different methods over the years but all are very labor intensive. Any tips are appreciated! Thanks!
Above 72 environment, a heat gun, Dental floss, eraser wheel for your handheld (like rubber eraser material, don't go mental with it, its to save your thumb) and your choice of recovery polymer (wax/compound).

Don't forget to painters tape your leading edges (X/Y axis) if you are replacing the badges with new ones.

Cheers,

RiG

Like most others, I used a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive behind and then I used dental floss to separate from the body. Dental floss is the absolute worst tool for this job, probably used an entire roll between all 4 emblems.

Also be patient when removing the excess from the body. Can usually be rolled off with your fingers.

Just installed the Diamondback HD bed cover and Go Rhino RB20 running boards. Thought I would post in case anyone is interested in installing these. Both were pretty straight forward.
The Diamond back cover is strong enough to haul cargo on, its very secure, doesnt leak and is rugged looking like the ZR2. The running boards are coated in the truck bed liner and match the bed cover. I have had the Diamondback on my previous truck and love it. Very functional. The running boards seem to work well so far.

A few more pics with newly added ZR2 logo on the rear quarter panels. I had the ZR2 made to match the front emblem. Sticking with more of the factory look.

Any SDM updates? Thinking about getting a satin clear bra on the front bumper, rear bumper, hood cowl.
