How can this truck go from 4200 a month ago and now missing parts is that a gm issue
Did your dealer tell you that it was 4200? None of our 4D00 trucks have shown 4200 in the order system but they did in the vehicle locator. They weren't really shipped though. They were showing 4200 there because they were being shipped from the plant to the storage lot where the missing parts trucks are being stored.
 
Unfortunately almost all of our trucks built at that time did the same thing. Mine was built June 1st and showed 3800 for 2 to 3 weeks before it switched to 4D00. The GM at the dealership I ordered through has at least 6 trucks, all different models, at 4D00.

Yeah this is from the locator and it's not correct. Well, it's sort of correct, like I said above. It was shipped, it just wasn't shipped to the dealer yet. Chevy chat is mostly useless.
You got that right. Looks at my chat with Chevrolet.
