I was in a similar situation in May of this year. Started searching inventory throughout the state of Texas. I finally found what I had ordered at a dealership four hours way. Made the deal via phone. My ordered truck ended up never being built. Glad I didn't sit around waiting.

3000 no tpw. If your truck went to 3000 just before the holidays, they won't assign a TPW until probably later this week. None of ours ordered before the GM holiday break have TPWs.
