Coming up on oil change time and I was looking to go with a full synthetic oil like Lucas, redline, Amsoil. Been using the GM oil and filter. Any recommendations? I am Also looking to upgrade the oil filter. Thinking of going to Wix filters. Any recommendations on this?

Which Wix filter? The synthetic media XP might be better if your doing long intervals. Otherwise the AC Delco PF63 is just fine. I've got a couple threads showing them cut open and the construction of the filter. They are good filters comparing them to many brands I've cut open in the past.
Any quality 0W20 Dexos oil that has the specs in the manual is fine. None of the brands you mentioned are any different in performance than those you can get at the auto parts store. Most modern synthetic oils offer excellent protection.
