Ah southern Utah. Girl got a little dirty. Did a trail that would make Bizon proud! BLM 430. OnX says a 3 but it was most definitely not. Had to use the lockers several times and near the top there was a boulder slide to get through. Thank goodness for the sliders. Was so full of adrenaline I didn’t get any pictures alas.

Snow wheeling yesterday outside of Idaho Springs.
Super gusty winds almost took my baby drone out.
Excellent! Looks like a fun trail.

Glad to see you are getting some snow pack. We haven't had hardly any rain or snow and we're getting winter fires. Hopefully it changes quickly or it's gonna be a miserable 2025 spring and summer coming off record heat and low precipitation 2024. They'll close a lot of public lands if the fire danger is high.

Thanks bud.

We have a fire warning for tomorrow.
We had to go deep in to the peaks to get into snow. It's been lighter than usual closer to the foothills.

Last month we went through a fireburn area that had happened a few years ago. Very unfortunate what that does to nature.

A little change from snowverlanding.
It was 28 the grease in Moab though.

Overall happy with the PEAK Lift and I removed the sway bar before we headed out. Not sure if I'll throw it back on. The truck feels grippier on the trails

In a truck swaybars really only benefit you in a hard swerve or turn, and maybe limit a bit of body roll. The rest of the time they have no real positive effect.

They should be called "anti"-sway bars. You can really feel the sway above 70 over bumps 🫣

This is the Nellis Dunes national recreation area. About 45 minutes from home, out by Nellis Air Force Base. It's quite a trek to get back to the actual sand dunes. Probably about 3 or 4 mi of some rough trails with steep hills. This was the climb out coming back from the dunes to the main road. Pictures don't do this area justice. It's absolutely massive and the camera definitely doesn't give a feel for just how steep some of these hills are. Where the truck is sitting, in the pictures with the Las Vegas trip in the background, was about a 23 degree incline and a few of them were north of 35°. Pretty freaking steep some of them, but the truck just drove like a tank and climbed right up without even slipping. Let the wife drive until she didn't want to anymore....because she got scared because it was night and she couldn't see. 🫨😂. I like doing night runs because they're a little more challenging especially in trails that have very narrow edges or steep grades. Can't wait to get in some snow at night. We just had a storm roll through last week and it dumped a bunch of snow up on the mountain but I have not had time to get up there yet. Looking forward to the next time it snows. Both the wife and I agreed we will take the day off and make time to get to the snow.
