I took a rock to the hood and it left a nice ding that I can’t help but notice all the time. Looking to cover it up (and prevent more). I personally don’t like the protectors that stick up off the hood at all. Anyone have pics of a low profile protector such as the aeroskin or others? Looking for a side profile shot if able because you can’t really tell profile from the straight on pics on vendors websites.

Don't have a perfect side profile picture but I do have the aeroskin in a smoke color on my ZR2. It is very hard to notice, but protects the hood well.

Just a little tip. When installing these stick-on accessories like hood protectors, emblems, window visors, ect., after wiping the area with alcohol, let it dry then wipe area with adhesive promoter and let dry before installing accessory. It helps the item stick a lot better and will not come off easily but don't hurt the paint. Just be sure to line up the item perfectly cause once you put it on it is almost impossible to adjust. Its pretty much a one shot deal, but it will stick great.

You can get adhesive promoter on Amazon as a wipe in individual packets or in a bottle. It's not expensive and greatly helps the item stick a lot better than the double sided tape alone.

Thanks for the pics. That should work to cover up the ding and looks pretty good.
With my truck being black, the smoke color Aeroskin is hardly noticeable. You have to enlarge the pictures to be able to really see it. But I like the way the Aeroskin hood protectors look
