Just Ordered my Onyx Black ZR2 HD Duramax

I like having a negotiating position! The more inventory, the better negotiating. Definitely a lot of ZR2s within 250 miles of you.

Tell your buddy I want that same deal and we'll take two. I'll fly and buy. I still think max I'm getting discounted is $5k, and it might not be that.
If you're serious, the second unit is identical to the one I posted. I'll doubt he'll do the same deal, but I am happy to ask and see what he'll do for you if you'd like me to. Since we're good friends, he's giving this to me at his true cost. Tell me where he "has" to be for you to want to lock down his second unit and I'll give him a call and use your number as a last resort.

Maybe I missed it, but if you don't get the multi flex tailgate, you'll find these tall trucks harder to get into the bed. I'm considering full length steps to get to the rear fender cause I like to get into the corner of my bed. Those integrated steps on the corner are nice, but it's s big first step and pull getting up.

In reality, I would need to be about $7-8 k off MSRP to make it worth it. If you figure travel costs, fuel, time it would add up.

I expect to get down to negotiating harder on mine next week when it arrives. Another guy had a ZR2 ordered from them and backed out. He's now trying to sell it to a friend of mine. The more they get, the better the price.

I really like the looks of the Bison package on the 2500HD, more so than 1500. That's why I added it. I really like the look of the bumpers and wheels to make the truck look unique. As for the skids, I doubt I'll ever use it that hard offroad to benefit from them. I wish all that stuff was optioned and you could pick what you want.

Let me know once yours comes in if they are willing to negotiate before I start working a deal with my friend and then pissing him off. If I can help you, I certainly will my friend.

OK...so maybe a "slight" change in plans here :) It appears that my dealer buddy has three BLACK 2500HD ZR2 Bison's coming in soon...hopefully. Two are identical in options and the third without the power retractable step. I want the step so that takes me down to two. The cost is about $9500 more than the one I placed on order and it has far more than what I really want or need (sunroof as an example plus the Bison package which I really didn't want/need). My buddy is willing to sell me this truck for just over $88K (Supplier is $90,612) so I said what the hell and locked it down so I have first right of refusal upon delivery. I have attached the build below. It is showing in 3800 status now and I'll get another update in a few weeks. It was built the week of September 25.

Am I crazy? Stupid? Both? My wife would say all three :ROFLMAO:

Shit you did damn good at that price with the Bison Package. I would say screw it and pull the trigger you only live once

Yeah, I'm really not interested in making it messy. I'll give these guys a chance, they said they'll take care of me. If they don't, I'll walk and find another deal. I've come to the conclusion this transaction is gonna get me close to $100 OTD, so $1000 doesn't seem to matter at this point......crazy pricing.

It's always been on the column for the HDs, also no paddle shifters, manual is on the column shift. If you gave the HD guys that console shift, they'd lose their shit.

The thing I'm most excited for on my HD is to have my coffee mug back in the right spot.........suck it GMC buyers yours has the brake control there!

The thing I'm least excited about is only 475 HP. My last Duramax pushed 515-535 HP and I could light up 35 MTs rolling on when the turbo spooled out.
Thanks for clearing that up. I have never had a need for an HD, other than vanity and this new one looks amazing, so I just assumed it would be on the console like the regular ZR2. I have had to tell myself repeatedly I have ZERO use for an HD so don't even consider it!!
