Hi All

Looking for advice/ recommendations.
I recently purchased a truck cap from ebay- looked identical to a bunch of the ones being sold around the US atm- straight out of china rebranded.
Sketchy, I know. But the price was right, and from what I could see it looked like just what I needed.

Well I got it assembled (pain in the ass), and it didn't fit right. Sat too close to 3rd brake light for my liking. Probably would of been fine if I didn't offroad. But I do, alot, and hard.
So I got a partial refund from the seller and they let me keep it. I am trying to get rid of it on facebook marketplace as we speak (hmu if you're a pavement princess and want a cool cap for cheap).
Selling shit on facebook is like some form of digital G bay torture.

My question is- I'm looking at a bunch of other metal truck caps/ toppers atm from a few different manufacturers.
These are:
RSI Evo A- seems absolutely perfect other than the price. Made in US or South Africa.
Westin EXP- seems pretty good, better price than RSI, but made in thailand, and I can't find any reviews. Looks like fitment might be tight.
Agri Cover Duracap- Price is epic, but doesn't have side doors, which I'm a big fan of. Made in America.
OVS Expedition- next best price to Duracap, all the features I want, lifetime warranty. However it's straight out of Wuhan (you can find the same cap on Alibaba atm)

These are all the ones I've found.
Does anyone have any personal experience with any of these or other metal truck caps they can recommend for my truck (2024 ZR2 1500).
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Would like to stay away from fiberglass- they're heavy, fragile and hard to modify. And expensive these days!

Thankyou for your help.

After spending way too much time on this very topic, I finally decided to go with Dirtbox.

Hopefully it will be installed soon. They actually had one available in their warehouse or you are looking at a wait of 4-5 months. I'm guessing because it's built in the good old PRC.

I was able to see one of their Canopy Campers that has this topper as the base and I was impressed with the construction and features. It well thought out IMO. I'm not sold on the ones which are assembled from multiple panels. They just don't look like they will hold up.

Once I get it installed I'll update with some photos.
