You likely can't turn the dumb thing off. The more tech these cars & trucks get the harder they are to eliminate the things we dislike!

You look in the manual? My last truck was a 2016 Silverado and the protocol to turn it off was in the manual. It was a sequence of weird steps that had to be done to disable.
