I also did the Auto Fog Lights and Mirror Task Lights in drive mods from Boost Auto Parts.
Same here. Did the auto fogs, but I did the spot in High beam, not the spot in drive. You have to hold the button in spot in drive which is useless... It is the same module just different t taps. I wired both ways and IMO the spot on high is the more practical.

I don’t plan on always using them and don’t mind having to hold the button to turn them on when I need/want them on. I think the high beams are bright enough and with it hooked up this way I can turn them on even with the high beams if I needed to.

I found that you must hold the button even when using high beam. If you wire it for the high beam configuration, when you turn the high beams on the spots will stay on without pressing the button, but not when wired the other way. It is the same exact kit, just different wiring configurations. In very dark areas, that extra 30° or so of light is nice.

I’m heading out tomorrow afternoon for the first real road trip in the ZR2. Going from north New Jersey to East Tennesse with a stop over in Virginia. I’m curious to see what kind of mpg I’m going to average cause my 2014 Silverado high country with the 5.3 averaged about 19 mpg on the same previous trips.
Im only averaging about 10 mpg around the hills in town with the ZR2.

I averaged almost 425miles per tank going from Vegas to South Dakota and back.

Still in Tennessee but so far I’m only getting 15.4 mpg… we will see what it averages after the trip home on Sunday.

Ended up getting 16.2 mpg on the 1732 round trip from NJ to TN to NJ.
My 2014 Silverado with the 5.3L only got 19mpg on previous trips so I’m happy with the ZR2 getting 16.2…

I've noticed quite a few more running around Phoenix now. Parked next to a red one yesterday and fueled up next to a white one a couple days before.
