I did some donuts on the beach after turning off the esc by holding down the traction control button. I could still feel the truck pulling power and holding back. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix/way to disable it completely?

With it being snow I didn't need a whole lot of gas to get it spinning. The traction control was off and I didn't feel a hesitation on the engine when I did give it the beans. I haven't heard of this before. Kinda sucks that we can't have fun in these new trucks without software getting in the way.

I didn't feel anything as fsr as power management
I had it in offroad mode with the traction control nannies off.
The pictures I posted were the first time I had the truck in the dirt.
I've had it out in really loose sand(glamis)
and haven't felt and control nannies.
I'm coming from a Toyota FJ with a ton of nannies and a 2018 ZR2 Colorado with no nannies with the right mode selected.
I would have definitely felt something in really loose sand where momentum is key.
I mostly run two-wheel drive, rear locked stability control turned off off-road mode.
With all the different modes and whatnot.
it took me a while in the Colorado to figure out exactly how to get the best out of it and off-road situations.

Every time I've turned my traction control off I've never noticed.... I'll pay specific attention to that next time when I'm in that situation.

So the traction control will turn off what I have experienced is even when I hold down the traction control button for 10 seconds and it says esc off. When i cut the wheel hard and try to do tight donuts I can feel it holding back. It's not a big deal I'm l little old to be driving like a teenager anyway.
