Hey guys,

New here. I’m sorry in advance if this has been discussed many times.

I have a 22’ with about 12,500 miles.
Obviously, the lifter issue is a known issue in some of these engines.

I’m wondering if anyone has heard of anyone doing an aftermarket cam/lifter and some forged internals after having this issue? If so, any issues past that?

I’m just trying to figure out if I’m better off doing an extended warranty or building the engine. Im not opposed to building off this platform.

Thank you.

There are kits you can purchase to fully rebuild the engine.

depends on what you wanna spend? you should only go thru GM or other authorised ext warranty sellers. motor kits vary and dont forget ecm update cost.

I remember someone on here posting a kit from a dealer in Florida.
I tried doing a search but couldn't find it. I'm not sure if it's me or my sausage fingers to blame
